it's worth learning if you want to understand how computers work, but that's about it.
i wanted to make games, so that kept me going in my teens, but after a while, i just lost interest.
computers are trash anyway, you're never going to be able to build one from scratch, at some point you're just putting together ready made lego blocks with no insight what's going on inside because the complexity is too high.
