i was at the wiz surgeon getting a consult. where he told me it would cost FIVE FUCKING THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR 2 WISDOM TEETH. His fees are reasonable but because its in a private hospital it adds up. END ME.

moving away from the good/evil model to something like pleasure/pain. doing good things only brings good karma if you had to endure pain for it, donating 100k to charity doesn't work because it's relatively effortless, but giving your food to someone else while YOU experience hunger is much more impactful.

i've been working on a new karmic theory. pleasure and pain is balanced, so if you suddenly get some joy in your life out of nowhere, going past your "allowance", you will find yourself with equal amounts of pain to compensate. recently started playing a video game that i really enjoy, which improved the amount of joy i got per day, and immediately i got random aches, got a cut on my finger and other annoyances. i'm starting to become wary of good things happening because i know that some fucking bullshit is right around the corner to balance it out.
