You can prove the contents that a HTTPS site served using cryptography. That means you can scale up downloaders without having to trust that the content they saw is accurate. Anyone could run a downloader to process embeds and be paid in mana. It might also be possible to do this client-side with web tech tbh. It would make it almost impossible to shut down embeds. But IG: if no one is interested then there are other options like free proxies, VPNs, archiving sites, etc.

btw. to fix the "open on..." link, you just need to add a "noreferrer" to the rel parameter on the link.
currently it's rel="nofollow noopener ugc" -> rel="nofollow noopener ugc noreferrer".
that makes it so the browser doesn't send info about where the link was clicked.
