i always wanted to hang out with the emo kids after i left school at 16. i listened to emo/post-hardcore music and wore band t-shirts so i thought i might fit in with them. i used to see a group of emo teens and skateboarders hanging out under a bridge near where i lived but i never had the courage to try to talk to them. i never actually even got to be a teenager because i hit puberty late and didn't look like a teenager until 18-19 but by then i stopped going outside at all. my whole life has been wasted. no love. no friends. no fun.
