the final nail in the coffin for me was getting acne as a teenager. i was already an ugly, short kid but getting acne as well made my confidence drop to zero and i basically started skipping school most days. then after my acne started to clear up a bit in my 20s i was left with permanent acne scars all over my face which has permanently killed my confidence.
