fuck, that's a tough one. i've seen so many and i've never taken the time to make a ranking or tier list.
i like all the classics like, the sopranos, better call saul, house md, mad men, dexter, game of thrones, lost, deadwood... etc. some shows had really good first seasons like true detective and fargo, but then the quality went all over the place. some shows i've seen that i thought were good, but on re-watch they were dogshit like sherlock. there's constantly new shows coming out that are pretty good.

gooker because he often makes me laugh. he's often unintentionally funny.
but also i respect him because he's a free thinker and uses what little cognitive abilities he has with confidence.

still has more potential for genius than a midwit that just accepts whatever is served to him.
a lot of discoveries were made by people too stubborn to listen to their "betters".

true, but taken out of context. gooker isnt breaking radical new ground by having poor hygiene, for example... when you decide to go out and do your own thing you had better have good reason for it. otherwise, you're just being a contrarian fucktard.
if anything gooker is a cautionary tale of someone in isolation without competency or feedback. a quack who thinks everyone is wrong but lacks the awareness to know any better. the story of gooker feels like it belongs in a plato lecture or something... but to teach lessons.
