how do i check if my silicone butt-plug is actually 100% silicone and doesn't include and metal parts?

reminds of the news story where a guy went into an MRI machine with a buttplug and didn't know it had metal parts and it ripped his innards to shreds...
the safest would be buying one of those hand metal detectors and testing it out. maybe try some magnets, but some metals don't react to magnets? idk. oh, maybe you could put the buttplug in the bathroom after you pass the security line? or maybe while you're in the air.
