i watch like one or two movies per year. but i watch a lot of tv series, it's like night and day in terms of quality. there's like a couple decent blockbusters per year, usually the some marvel and nolan slop, and the rest is like indie horror films and cheap flicks that go to streaming immediately. movies are a dead art form. instead of trying to fit everything into 1.5 hour timeslot, you can make a fleshed out story and character that fit well into a 6-12 episode season. the only problem with tv shows is that have a problem with endings, the last episode almost always contains some cliffhanger as like a potential promise for a new season, then when it's time to actually end, they don't know how to do it.

^ i think there's decent shows coming out every month.
right now i'm watching:
>Silo (season 3)
cool scifi series about people that live in an underground silo in a post-apocalyptic world. they've been down there long enough that they don't know what happened to the world or who created the silos. everyone they send out just dies after 2-3 minutes. the mystery aspects keep it interesting.
>Special Ops: Lioness (season 3)
just a solid military/spy/special ops series. some people dislike it because of the female lead, but it's not unrealistic where she takes down an entire team by herself. another cool one is Terminal List and Terminal List: Dark Wolf. i like these types of shows.
>House of the Dragon (season 3)
it has its ups and downs, but it's decent enough. mostly carried by the GoT world-building. the knight of seven kingdoms was also a neat little spin-off.
>The Westies (season 1)
irish gang vs italians in the 80s. solid crime drama.
