it's fine if you don't touch politics cuz a couple users get extremely butthurt if you don't toe the specific narrative they believe in. site is stagnating because the owner is too scared to make any changes or to allow anyone else to help him. soupchan fixes all the problems, now it's true free speech and you can wake up to a whole new feature set to play with, it's like christmas every day.
